I feel like it is almost impossible to get myself to blog lately. I have more free time than I ever had in school, but I just can't bring myself to post. I have multiple almost fully formed ideas written in my notebook, but it seems that the words never make it onto my laptop. I'm either feeling lazy or tired or I just don't feel like missing any of my shows. Does this happen to anyone else?
I think the problem is that I get so involved in a post that it becomes a chore for me and I want to just get back to writing simple things. No matter what "writing the perfect blog post" pins say, I want to write for me and that's all that really matters.
So the rest of this post is basically gonna be a bunch of word vomit.
+ I really love Adam and Blake's bromance on The Voice.
+ I really love my job. Like even more every day,
+I also love that after only 2 months, I feel like I've been friends with my coworker Courtney for years.
+ Why do I never take out my contacts before I start to paint my nails?
+ FROZEN WON AN OSCAR. I freaked out on Twitter and I'm not even sorry about it. I have watched it 3 times this week. #Perfection
+ Sarah posted about blogging today and she linked to a really awesome blog post about what Twitter is like.
+ I had a group chat... and text...and Tweeting spree with Jordan and Kaylee Sunday night. We talked about a bunch of random stuff and we all managed to send each other pictures of us with our respective boozes. So there's that. I love these two and the fact that I can say a paraphrased version of a Disney quote and they can spit it back to me word for word. And the fact that they moved the convo elsewhere when my wine-filled self couldn't keep up with the Twit.

Also also, today is Amanda's birthday. So send her alcohol and Harry Potter themed presents!

Blake and Adam are the main reason I watch the voice- I love it!! And don't shame me- but I have yet to see Frozen! Definitely top of the list though!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy Frozen won! And the speech the writers of "Let it Go" gave was one of the best of the night (actually they are the sister and brother-in-law of a girl I went to summer camp with!)

ReplyDeleteas you may be able to tell, i have the same problem. i paint my nails once a week, so you'd really think i'd have everything figured out by now. but inevitably i either A) forget to take out my contacts, B) have to pee super bad, C) get hungry, D) absolutely must itch my head right that second, or E) ALL OF THE FREAKING ABOVE!!
let's just talk for one second about how you and kaylee both have respectable size glasses, and i'm all like, "who needs glasses, i've got the whole dang bottle." #lushalert

ReplyDeleteI struggle with writing too. I literally have SO much time on my hands but I spend most of it just watching TV. Like right now, I have a post about Lent started but clearly not finished and it's 5:30.
